About Ownership

Altar'd Construction is owned and operated by Joshua Adejunmobi, a mechanical engineer and graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
 

Josh began his career as a process and project engineer in aseptic commercial construction for a pharmaceutical company, working alongside the FDA to help qualify new drugs for market. When the Lord called him away from that role, he stepped into commercial real estate as a project and property manager — a season that built the relationships and subcontractor network Altar'd Construction still draws on today.
 

After much prayer and time in the Word, it became clear that contracting was the tool God wanted to use to put His hands and feet to work. Altar'd Construction was born from that calling.

Why We Started Altar'd Construction
 

2024 was a defining year — and even when it didn't look like it on the surface, the Lord was at work.
 

Hurricane Helene hit our family hard. When we returned to Tampa, our business was sitting three feet underwater. The rebuild that followed was one of the hardest things we've faced. Two weeks later, Hurricane Milton struck, snapping a power line that fell on our house and burned it to the ground.
 

It was a brutal year. But through it, God was building something in us — a heart to help others rebuild, and to do it in His name. Altar'd Construction exists because we know what it means to lose everything and rebuild with purpose. Now we get to walk alongside our clients and do the same for them.
