Refund Policy
We enter every project as a partnership built on trust. Our refund policy reflects that commitment — fair to both parties, with clear expectations from day one.
Before Work Begins
Change Orders
Cancellation by client:
If you choose to cancel before we break ground, your deposit is non-refundable. You are also responsible for any material or project expenses incurred beyond the deposit amount.
Any changes to the agreed scope require written authorization before work begins. Verbal approvals are not sufficient. We'll always document scope changes, cost adjustments, and any schedule impacts clearly before moving forward.
After Work Begins
Cancellation by client:
If the project is cancelled after work has started, you are responsible for all costs accrued to date — including labor, materials, and any subcontractor work in progress.
Unforeseen Circumstances
Cancellation by Altar'd
In rare cases — such as severe labor or material shortages — where we are unable to begin your project, we will return your deposit in full. No further charges apply.
Construction sometimes reveals surprises behind walls or under floors that weren't visible during the estimate. If that happens, we'll notify you immediately in writing with a clear cost breakdown before any additional work proceeds. You only pay for what the project actually requires.
